Fundraising Entertainment with a Purpose
Don't Just Entertain Your Donors. Engage Them.
Big City Sing-Along is built differently.
The Difference
Entertainment at a fundraiser isn't necessarily fundraising entertainment.
Requests, dedications, challenges, friendly competition, sing-alongs and spontaneous moments give guests reasons to participate. At fundraising events, that participation can be structured to reinforce the night's purpose and create additional opportunities for giving.
The entertainment doesn't happen beside the fundraiser. It becomes part of it.
Whether you’re supporting medical research, schools and education foundations, animal and environmental causes, community nonprofits, service organizations, arts organizations, or disability organizations, we’ll bring the energy and engagement to make your event a success.
How the Bar is Raised
Friendly competition drives tables, departments, families, or rival factions to challenge on another and drive participation.
Dedications and moments to recognize donors, honorees, survivors, volunteers, or people whose stories represent the mission.
Guests support the cause while requesting their favorite songs.
TOP TEIR PERFORMERS
Fundraising takes more than just great musicianship. The person leading the room has to read people, improvise, manage energy, and still deliver an exceptional musical performance.
That's why Big City Sing-Along doesn't build events around whoever happens to be available. We use experienced, proven entertainers capable of delivering an incredible experience.

PARTICIPATE: Friend, tables, and eventually the room get involved.
CONNECT: The experience becomes communal, emotional, and connected to the night’s purpose.
GIVE: The event has more opportunities to turn that energy toward generosity.

Planning Process
TALK: Tell us about the organization, event, audience, venue, and fundraising goals.
DESIGN: We recommend the entertainment format, performers, and participation strategy that makes sense for your event.
PERFORM: We work with your team so the entertainment supports the evening instead of competing with it.
* Every organization, audience and event is different. This is an example of what can happen when entertainment and fundraising are designed to work together - not a guarantee of future results.
FAQ
How much does a fundraising event cost?
Every event is different, but most two-performer Big City Sing-Along fundraising experiences fall in the $3,500-$5,000 range, depending on location, production requirements, performers and event scope. We'll give you a clear proposal before you commit.
Can you work with our auctioneer or fundraising team?
Absolutely. In fact, we prefer it. The strongest results happen when entertainment, fundraising and event production aren't operating as three unrelated parts of the evening.
Is this appropriate for a formal gala?
Yes. Participatory doesn't have to mean chaotic. We adjust the tone, material and level of interaction to the audience and event.
Do guests have to participate?
Never. Good interactive entertainment invites people in; it doesn't embarrass people into participating.
